Our Sustainability Commitment
Fashion Shouldn't Cost the Earth
At Koru Wear, sustainability isn't a marketing strategy — it's the foundation of every decision we make. From the fibers we choose to the partners we work with, we hold ourselves accountable to a higher standard.
What We Use: Natural Fibers Only
We exclusively use natural, biodegradable materials — primarily cotton (linen and hemp on the way). Unlike synthetic fabrics, natural fibers don't release microplastics when washed, don't persist in landfills for centuries, and feel better against your skin.
Our cotton is ethically sourced and OCS (Organic Content Standard) certified where applicable. We are continuously working to increase the percentage of certified organic and regenerative materials across our entire collection.
How We Make It: Ethical Production
We partner with production facilities that meet rigorous standards for worker safety, fair wages, and environmental responsibility. We believe the people who make our clothing deserve the same care we put into designing it.
Our production partners hold GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certifications and operate under fair labor practices. We audit our supply chain regularly and are committed to full transparency.
Packaging & Shipping
We use minimal, recyclable packaging. Our shipping materials are plastic-free wherever possible, and we're working toward carbon-neutral shipping options.
What's Next
Sustainability is a journey, not a destination. We're actively working toward:
- 100% certified organic cotton across all products
- Helpful information about the industry
- Annual sustainability reporting published openly on this site
Thank you for holding us accountable. Your support makes this possible.
